Looking back | Toronto family photographer | Canon Elan + Fuji C200

There was *that time*. That time before we talked about “challenging times” or “unprecedented times” or “what-else-could-possibly-go-wrong” time. This was only January and yet, it’s otherworldly. I don’t know how to document what use to seem so normal and mundane. I don’t even know how to look back and tell those stories. I feel stuck. But I also feel so unbelievably creative during THESE TIMES that I sometimes feel like I’m going to burst. Like there are a million photos and stories and threads spilling out of me constantly.

I miss telling my stories. My everyday stories of just the stuff around me. Around us. I’m getting some of those out there and bundling them together in ways that make sense to me. Like by film stock. Or by day.

These were taken on a grey January day on a $2 Canon Elan camera using my favourite Fuji C200 cheapo stock. Cheers to getting these mind essays out there. Feels better already.

Using the new Storytailor app to make this blog post and I think maybe that’s part of the charm. It’s beautifully easy.
